Ombuds 1

Harvard University is hiring an Ombuds I for its Cambridge location. The full-time position will join a team that includes Adam Barak Kleinberger, and is headed by Melissa Brodrick. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2-3 days on campus. It is a 2-year term, benefits eligible position through June 30, 2028, with the possibility of extension.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and at least five years of experience in Ombudsing, conflict resolution, mediation, and/or negotiation or in a related field. Additional qualifications include an advanced degree in a related field, previous Ombuds experience and prior experience in an academic/higher education environment, basic mediation training, IOA Foundations training, and experience designing and conducting trainings.
